Hawkeye Firefly Split 4k Connection to Herelink Operating Instructions
1、Preparation before connection
1.1 Confirm that the HDMI output resolution of the camera is within the support range of Herelink
1.1.1 High definition resolution supported by Herelink:
4K@30,1080P@60,1080P@24,720P@60,720P@30.
1.1.2 Resolution not supported by Herelink: 1080P@30,1080I,720P@24.
1.2 Method to confirm the HDMI output resolution of the camera: Connect the camera to the TV
through a HDMI cable, press the information button to view the current video information; (The
default HDMI output resolution of the camera is 1080P60FPS; If it is not the default
resolution, you can press and hold the recording button for 5 seconds in preview mode, and
the camera will automatically restart and restore the default resolution)
2、Installation wiring
2.1 Connect the split 4k to the HDMI interface on the Herelink Sky end through an HDMI cable;
2.2 Connect the power cord of the camera and sky end to the battery end of the distribution board
through a switch or directly.
3、Startup operation
3.1 Power on the camera and the sky terminal simultaneously, and wait for 15 seconds before you
can see the camera's image on the ground terminal of Herelink.
3.2 Power on the sky terminal first, wait for normal power on, then turn on the camera, and after
about 5 seconds, you can see the camera's image on the ground terminal of Herelink;
3.3 Turn on the camera first, then turn on the sky camera. After about 15 seconds, you will be able
to see the camera's image on the ground side of Herelink
